The Rocks Markets

Our last day in Sydney before flying out this evening so we decided to spend the morning having breakfast in The Rocks.  Yes, there was another market, and no I didn't buy anything. I did however see the statue of Biggles.  A little Schnauzer type dog who was a regular around The Rocks for a number of years, and quite a character from all accounts. The dog tally for the day was a healthy 32.  Many favorite pooches were also doing the markets in The Rocks.  As for Watson's Bay where we headed for lunch - dog Mecca. The ferry ride to Watson's Bay was so that Frank and I could catch up with his friend and his wife.  A more delightful, yet humble couple you could only wish to meet.  They were genuinely welcoming and great lunch companions.  We shared a table on the verandah of Dunbar House and the afternoon slipped quietly by. Then it was an express ferry back to Circular Quay to collect our bags and here I am.  At the International Airport in Sydney awaiting our departure.  To say I am excited is somewhat of an understatement.
