Nowhere is traffic more crazy in Paris than on the approach to the Arc de Triumph.  No need to travel to a theme park, although as well as Disneyland there is also and Asterix world.  All one need do is get a car, or hop in a taxi and join the madness that is the "roundabout roulette".  It seems that there are two roundabouts in Paris where the rule is that traffic actually on the roundabout gives way to the traffic approaching the roundabout.  This is one of those spots.  As a result the multiple lanes - think 4 or 5, all unmarked stop in the middle of nowhere to let more traffic in. ...it really is an incredible, yet unnerving experience. 21.10.2012
